Boardmaker for iPad

The Smarty Ears app looks pretty good especially if you prefer SymbolStix symbols. If someone would prefer to still use Boardmaker--and I have a lot of students who do, another option for using Boardmaker on the iPad is to mirror it using a an app like Splashtop. I started using this app for PixWriter because I needed direct access for writing with a student who required icon support and a writing grid. PixWriter doesn't have an app, but you can 'mirror' what is on your desktop (running the sopftware program) to your iPad for access on you iPad. This works so long as each device is connected to the Internet. I like the Splashtop app because it also 'mirrors' the sound/voice of the software program on my iPad. I hope this helpful. Peace.
