Is there a way to set a board to open in Use mode?

Another way to achieve this is to use a free software called "autohotkey" (AHK). AHK will allow you to create a string of commands such as: open boardmaker, open board, go into use mode and then launch that string with a single action. www.autohotkey.com

The BSF 6.x manual indicates on page 6 that the program can be started in the use mode by launching the shortcut that it creates on your desktop called "BSF Interactive Sample Boards" You may be able to right click on this shortcut and choose properties to try and find out how Boardmaker is launched in use mode. It appears that a separate product, Boardmaker Player, launches boards in use mode automatically. Perhaps MJ doesn't advertise this feature in case you might go and buy their player in order to obtain it. I have deleted this shortcut from our desktop, so if you try it and it works, please let the community know!

...other than setting it as the "start-up" board?
