There are programs that allow you to take the Boardmaker file and make it a PDF. This way, you can share materials with those you may not have a Boardmaker CD or students cannot change what you have created.

Try using free "primoPDF" software to convert your Boardmaker file to a PDF which can then be read and printed on any computer with Adobe Reader or another PDF reader software such as Foxit Reader. http://www.foxitsoftware.com/downloads/ http://www.primopdf.com/download.aspx

It is my understanding that you can install your Boardmaker software on more than one computer, you just have to insert the CD in order to use the software. You could install BM on the computer connected to your color printer and just make sure you have your CD with you when you need to print. If you have Adobe Acrobat Pro you could convert your BM file to a PDF and open/print on any computer with Adobe Reader. You could also take a screen shot (google "How to Take a Screen Shot" if you don't know how) or use the "Snipping Tool" in Windows 07 of the board and save it as a JPEG, which could then be printed on any computer.

Is there a way I can print from a computer without boardmaker? My classroom doesn't have a color printer.
