Perhaps the teacher could change the learning environment. For example, instead of him sitting at a desk or wherever he normally is when she teaches, he could sit in a bean bag chair and use a clipboard. Sometimes the association with location and materials sets off a trigger for the student, and a simple change in location can stop the trigger.

Hi, my son is 11 years old and when someone tries to teach him something he seems to get very agressive, He will hit the teacher in the face and kick them. The environment is not as we know overstimulating and the teacher would be very calm and use a calm voice. He shows interest but once he realizes that he is being tought something, he has these behaviors. Any advice please?
