PS 169

This group is for the educators at PS 169 in Manhattan. It mostly is composed of aided language boards as discussed at the AAC workshop. These boards can be used in the classrooms, home enironments, etc. They can be used in increase commenting, requesting, use of concepts, turn-taking, use of nouns and verbs, and mean length of utterance. How is everyone doing with the aided language displays?

Thank you everyone for joining this group. I have some questions to help us look at the progress of our students and continue to make improvements in order to support everyone. Has everyone found the aided language displays useful? Have you seen improvements in your students? What are other activities that you feel could benefit from an aided language display? Does anyone feel they need further support in the use of aided language displays? Thank you for your input, Erin
