The "Oklahoma Unit" was created by OATC staff to give teachers working with students that have moderate to severe disabilities a creative and engaging way to teach academic skills and also help them accommodate the physical, sensory, or cognitive limitations their students may have. This unit contains many no, low, and high tech activities that cover the following curricular areas: reading, writing, math, social studies/community, science, art, music, and cooking.

This group is designed to support the instructional staff working with students attending Lake Hills School. Together we educate and empower students ages 3 to 22 through the use of cognitive, communication and behavioral supports to demonstrate success in and out of the classroom.
