This group consists of SLPs and teachers of Beaverton School District in Oregon. We seek to share materials created for communication and teacher resources. You'll find overlays for a number of different communication devices, low tech communication books, and some interactive classroom materials. Some activities were created by BSD staff, while others were created and brought in from the public portion of BoardmakerShare.com. Each unit introduces students to a different topic, and contains 3 differentiated levels. Each unit contains: books at different Lexile levels; an activity schedule; speech and language activities; a collection of communication supports; a collection of behavior supports; a hidden picture or web; a vocabulary activity; a matching activity; a fun activity with a theme-based recipe or craft; a board game and bingo game.
