Description:

Students identify place values of 1's, 10's & 100's through use of pennies, dimes, and dollar bills. Students count, match, or use 1:1 correspondence to place 9 pennies in the 1's column; with the 10th penny a dime is placed in the 10's column, and the 9 pennies removed. Continue this process to count pennies and dimes to lead to one or more dollar bills (100's).
