Description:

This is an activity that I do during snack time. I laminate the sheets and write in a subtraction problem or let the students copy the subtraction problem with an overhead marker. I give each student a snack like (goldfish, raisins, mini crackers...) the student must count and place the first number of snack counters in the first box. Next they are instructed to take away the next number by eating that amount. Then they are instructed to slide down the remaining counters to find the answer and write the number.
