This is a book I put together for my high school students with severe/profound disabilities. We did a field trip to the Idea Sensory Garden at Cantigny in Wheaton, IL. While everyone can't access the location, I thought it could easily be adapted for other sensory gardens. I used this to prepare students for what they would experience with each sense, used it at the location, as an occassional class reading to remember the experience. I bought herbs & flowers from the store so students would have the full sensory experience!
